Images from a 16 day stroll from the North Sea to the Irish Sea across the North of England.
Day 3 – The Red Lion to Potto. Walked across the moors on a disused mine railway. The threatening sky hung just above us but the rain held off and, by lunchtime, the clouds broke up.
The painting is made in acrylic paints on a cradled birch wood panel.
