Wattle Time

One of the best things about living in Ballarat is the climate. Did I hear howls of derision from Queenslanders? Sure, winters can be chilly, with a snow flurry now and again, but they’re short and just as you think you might be fed up of nights in front of the fire with a book and a glass of Shiraz, Spring arrives! Yay! In my politically incorrect, non-native garden immigrant daffodils are poking through the ground and roses are budding while out in the native bush the Wattle is getting its bloom on.

  1. Thank you Maria! I see the nomination comes with a weight of responsibility! 🙂 I’ll do my best to carry it forward in the near future. All the best. L

    1. You’re welcome Lars! No worries about the post. I know these awards take time. Thanks for accepting. And keep going with your lovely paintings of the Australian landscape. It’s by far one of my favourite subjects. Have a happy day. 😊
