A walk across the North of England – Day 13
Reluctantly we leave Lancrigg and head into the rain. As we climb, the rain gets colder, heavier and more horizontal. On the top it’s slow going as we skirt round and hop over the worst of the bogs, and then down an impossibly slippery rock face into the calmer and warmer valley. Not the best day, and we’re feeling pretty ordinary by the time we get to Rosthwaite. Collapse into bed and wake in the middle of the night feeling feverish. Uh oh.
Didn’t feel the inspiration today, so you get a sketch (and the drenched sketcher) instead.

Hope you’re okay and don’t get sick
